Great choices for book club reading. I so wish I was part of some book club . College days were fun when I could discuss books with like minded friends but with hospital duty I hardly have time for socializing and meeting friends.

I read Blind Assassin a couple summers ago and couldn’t wait to finish it (and I mean that in a bad way). That’s the only Atwood book I’ve read and from what I gather, some people love her, some people hate her. I guess I just wasn’t impressed. I remember it being too weird without purpose for my taste.

My bookclub read THE SOLOIST this past year. It was a very good book and everyone in our group enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t like so much was that it seemed to just be the news articles put together in book format. And by that I mean there seemed to be sections of time missing and I wondered about things that transpired during that time. I just wanted to know more…I guess that makes the other stuff really good, huh? 😉

I havent read any of these. My book club met tonight. We choose one book at a time, tonight being our Christmas selection. I am so pumped our next meeting is our 100th and it will be for Christmas! Woo hoo!

I need a great idea to celebrate 100.
